Run a DTeach organization
Run a DTeach organization
Hold your school in DTeach — members, groups, courses, and roles.
If you do not run Moodle, DTeach holds your school itself. An organization is that container: everyone who belongs to it, the classes you split them into, and the courses you share with those classes.
Already running Moodle? You do not need an organization — connect your Moodle instead.
How the pieces fit
- The organization is your school. People join it once.
- Groups are your classes. A member belongs to as many groups as needed, as a teacher in one and a student in another if that is the reality.
- Courses are linked to groups. Linking a course to a group is what gives that class access to it.
- Roles decide who can do what, at each of those levels.

Then build the course itself — see Inside a course.
