Run a DTeach organization

Invite members

Bring teachers and students into your organization.

Invite by email

Open Members and press Invite members. Each row is one person: their email, the group they join, and the role they get in that group.

  • Paste a plain column of emails and DTeach fills the rows for you.
  • Paste three columns — email, group, role — and it maps all three. teacher and student are recognized, and anything unknown falls back to student.
  • Up to 30 people per batch. Run several batches for a whole school.

Admins can also invite someone to the organization only, without any group. Useful for a colleague who will manage classes rather than attend one.

On a group's Add members dialog, DTeach offers an invitation link. Anyone who opens it joins that group with the role you set. Share it in a class channel or on a slide.

Regenerate the link whenever you want to close it: the previous one stops working immediately.

Pending invitations

Invitations to people who have no DTeach account yet stay listed as pending until they sign up. From the Members page you can see them and cancel any that were sent in error. The same email cannot have two pending invitations for the same group.

What a new member sees

They confirm their email, land on their dashboard, and find the courses linked to their groups. Nothing else in the organization is visible to them.

Next: what each role can do.
