How a DTeach course is built, and what students can do in it.
A course is a tree of sections in the sidebar, each holding a document. Documents sync live: what you type appears for everyone reading, with no save button.
Every course opens from an activity in your Moodle.
What is in a document
Text, headings, lists, tables, images, video and audio, LaTeX formulas rendered as you
type, and whiteboards. Type / in the editor to insert any of
them.
What students can do
- Read — always, for every section you have not hidden.
- Take notes — private, attached to your paragraphs.
- Ask questions — anchored to the passage they are stuck on, answered in a thread.
- Edit — where you decide to open it, section by section.
- Draw together on a shared whiteboard.
